MOROCCAN RUG PINK

Rugs are made by women using traditional methods in villages in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, the area most affected by the September 2023 earthquake. In humble dwellings in the mountains, they have preserved the original craft for generations and still support their families. Each rug is the result of many hours of work by the entire community, from raising sheep to selling them at local markets. Carpets are handed down from generation to generation in Morocco and can last up to 60 years if properly maintained.

Maintenance. Thanks to the natural protective barrier of natural wool, any spillage can be well sucked out with wipes and cleaned with water. Clean only with natural products such as Lanolin. If soiled, it can be gently dry-cleaned once a year.
