The NONA brand focuses on slow fashion in our fast-paced modern world. It does not recognize seasonal collections, instead focusing on limited series of sophisticated accessories inspired by Japanese minimalism. The handbags designed in the Rotterdam studio are created in collaboration with a small family workshop in Spain, which still boasts a rich tradition of leather craftsmanship and top-quality materials.

The brand’s founder, Anona van der Linde, believes that a handbag should blend naturally with our bodies, just like a comfortable piece of clothing. That’s why the designers at NONA strive to create handbags that are not only aesthetically unobtrusive, but also comfortable for everyday wear over many years. Because the handbags are only produced in a limited basic collection, the brand can truly focus on ethical production, avoiding overproduction and waste of resources. The materials used, such as leather from Spain and cotton canvas from France, are carefully selected to minimize the carbon footprint associated with their transport.

CARE

Natural leather: it is recommended to use a protective spray before using the bag for the first time. Water-resistant and dirt-repellent sprays are available for different types of leather. For smooth leathers, use a damp cotton cloth to clean the bag from time to time. If a stain appears on the leather, try to remove it with a dry cotton cloth or handkerchief and then clean it with a damp cloth.
