In the Euphoria collection, designer and jeweller Maria Kobelová explores euphoria, highlighting its different types and emphasising their rarity. Euphoria is a part of each of us and takes many forms. Reaching the point of happiness! Happiness and a feeling of mental satisfaction, a sense of balance and a strong and violent release.

What is euphoria? What is its importance in our lives? What is part of it and the bond that draws us to it? Through the collection, the artist presents four views of happiness, which she simultaneously expresses and records in curves, volume, shape harmony and through the stones used. The aim of her work was to capture and express the feeling of euphoria and to try to get closer to this emotional state – the magic.

The shapes of the rings, necklaces, bracelets or earrings made of silver, complemented with stones, are defined by four types of euphoria in the collection.

Mária Kobelová is engaged in the design and production of jewellery that transcends into free conceptual art. She is primarily influenced by life situations that have shaped her creatively. Curve – shape – attraction – moment – balance. She seeks unity for visual and aesthetic communication to the public. Her path led through the metal and jewellery studio at FDULS in Pilsen (under the guidance of Prof. V.K.Novák and Assoc. M.A. Petr Vogel) and then through the ceramics studio (under the guidance of Assoc. MgA. Gabriel Vach).
